MOLDING SAND REGENERATION UNIT

The moulding sand regeneration unit is now operational.
This installation will make it possible to treat the casting sand adhering to the castings and recovered during the shot blasting operation.
The sand treated by an attrition process can then be reused in the production cycle for the manufacture of the cores.
This investment of nearly 4 million euros is part of LA FONTE ARDENNAISE's CSR approach and contributes to developing the circular economy and reducing our carbon footprint.
We are now able to process 11,000 tonnes of sand per year, the equivalent of a thousand trucks for an estimated annual gain of 20,000 tonnes of CO2
